How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To
When you reach out, you end up speaking with an independent concrete provider in the network. These are local businesses. They run their own crews, set their own schedules and write their own quotes. Tartebakery Concrete makes the introduction, and then the conversation is yours.
What Happens After You Reach Out
You share a few basics: what you want built, the rough size, and your timing. A provider that serves your area gets in touch. Many providers can respond quickly, though availability changes with the season and their workload. They may ask for photos or suggest a visit to your yard.
Questions Worth Asking
A good provider is happy to answer plain questions. Here are some to keep handy:
- What base and thickness do you suggest for my soil and climate?
- How will you handle drainage, especially near my basement or sump pump?
- When do you suggest pouring, and what happens if the weather turns?
- Do you use reinforcement and control joints?
- How long before I can walk or park on it?
- Can I see the quote in writing, with what is and is not included?
Where You Can Help, and Where Pros Are Needed
You can clear the area, move planters, mark sprinkler lines and decide on shape and color. You can also keep pets and cars out of the way. The heavy parts need proper tools and skill. That means grading, setting forms, mixing, pouring, finishing and sealing. Concrete will not wait for you to learn as you go.
You Stay in Control
Talking to a provider does not lock you into anything. You can ask for more than one view, take your time and say no. Slow and steady is a fine way to choose.
